Howdy, im back. How’s it going? How’s your day been? Granted I’m not particularly interested but as they say it’s the thought that counts. You know the little things in life.

Anyway enough about you, lets talk about me & what I’ve got going on. So here we are, once again at the blissfully and surprisingly hot (I live in the UK so seeing blue skies and sunshine is still quite strange) season we call summer. Still haven’t got a job so nothing new there, but what is new are the photos of a little promo we shot for our friend Gang Grene. Check out his Soundcloud, have a look at the photos below & then imagine what the video’s gonna be like.

So… On our road to be the best creatives we can be (insert enthusiastic fist pump here) we were learning to actually write the briefs that we’d eventually be working from. Essentially learning how to be an account planers which funnily enough would be beneficial to helping creating better creative work, weird huh. Our brief was to write a brief then work off it. A brief within a brief; (*whispers) inception. You’ve probably deduced by now with your great powers of observation that it was on Palmers Cocoa Butter, clap for your self.

We found out that the majority of White 30+ males just don’t moisturise, so we wanted to get them to do that daily. How you ask. Our insight was men don’t care about themselves, but they do care what women think of them. After speaking to a lot of females we learnt that when they kiss their partners if he has stubble or not fully grown facial hair it gives them rashes on the face, which they don’t like . Get men to moisturise daily, by encouraging the women to buy it for them and the man can add it as an extra step to his shaving process. Sweet.

Red Ribbon

Part 2 of my Adventure to the OF pop up store. Theres a lot of street art in and around brick lane

Just before the sun decided that it was gonna take an unscheduled vacation, the weather was so nice i went for lovely cycle to brick lane in London. Cause I ride bikes bitch. So off I went to the land of the hipsters to check out the Odd Future Pop up store.

Adding bitch to the end of any sentence just makes it funny one of those mysteries of life.

Photography and Advertising, does it have a correlation? Well apparently it does seeing as we’ve just been given a load pf photography briefs on my ad course, but I’m not complaining it spices things up kinda like trapping Kim Kardashian in a male prison with guys full of life sentences. So here we got given self portrait task where we had convey these statements essentially:

Hire Me

Trust Me

Pick Me

Just some more photos I’ve taken, one of them has even gotten over 1500 reblogs on tumblr #JustSaying (little self promo there).

A few days ago I put up some designs for a brief that I’m working on, since then stylistically we’ve gone a different way and it is looking #BAWSE if I do say so myself. Here are some of the posters I made from photos I’ve taken.

Should Britain adopt the metric system completely and teach european languages in schools? Tricky question right. One hand we become on par with the rest of Europe by breaking the language barrier and then on the other instead of going to the pub  for a pint we’d be going down for a half a litre. Sounds ridiculous but I think it’s a small price to pay to culturally enhance our nation, it also allows the chatting up of girls to be a more international affair hahaha.

Any way that question is basically my latest brief which I’m currently working on. We have to debate for or against that statement/question (Yeah… sometimes my english is very questionable. Although i did get an A my english GCSE  so the whole governments educational system is questionable in itself. Ha 1 john, 0 the world) and create a 4 medium campaign. In case you didn’t know mediums are things such as radio, television ads, print, virals, posters, etc you get the gist. If you don’t you might not be that bright if your offended please refer to the title :).

Yeah we’re debating for it, in  nut shell we’ve come up with a new student movement We’re The Future e.g. What The Fuck e.g. W.T.F, we represent positive change. We’ve taken  inspiration from the 60 protests and tried to bring back that sense of coming together to fight for change.

So I designed these posters hoping to get that 60s protest, Shepard Fairey, Obeyesk, propaganda feel. Don’t know how that came across but hey, just learning we might not even use these.
